Standard sharpening includes inspection, sharpening at an appropriate angle, careful deburring, individual testing, and light routine edge cleanup. Chips, broken or bent tips, significant profile correction, rust removal, scratch removal, refinishing, thinning, and restoration are priced separately and approved before work begins.
Pocket knives are charged per blade. Unusual or specialized grinds may require inspection and a quote.

Does your knife need more than sharpening?
Apex also offers chip and tip repair, edge reprofiling, rust and oxidation cleanup, blade refinishing, thinning, handle work, and full restoration. These services are inspected and quoted according to the knife’s condition and the requested result.

Do you sharpen serrated and Japanese knives?
Yes. Serrated knives are $11 per blade. Japanese-style and double-bevel Japanese knives are $20 per blade. Traditional single-bevel knives start at $30 and are inspected and quoted. Unusual or specialized grinds may require a quote.
